TOWER CRANES
Conventional Tower Cranes Type EC-H and HC

EC-H cranes are economical to transport, fast and easy to set up and have innovative drivelines. These cranes are powerful enough for medium to large construction projects. The individual crane components can be transported in the order in which they are later assembled.

These cranes use Liebherr modular concept and have the Electronic Monitor System (EMS) as standard.

Luffing Jib Cranes Type HC-L

These cranes have been designed for work on particularly high buildings or in extremely restricted spaces.

A new development is the option of fitting these cranes with a horizontal load path. When the jib is moved, the hoist gear is controlled in such a way as to ensure that the hook travels horizontally.
These luffing-jib cranes can avoid any obstruction and slew through 360° under load. Their small slewing radii and raised jib angles of 15 to 70°, even when not in operation, make these cranes particularly advantageous in operations on tight sites containing numerous cranes with overlapping slewing areas.

Flat-Top Cranes, Type EC-B

The EC-B flat top crane series comprises well-staggered models from 71 to 380 mt. The series is topped off by the 380 EC-B 16 Litronic.

The compact head on these EC-B cranes incorporates the hoist gear, the slewing gear, the central switchgear and the complete ball slewing ring support.

What is more, quick-release fastenings make pinning the jib and counter-jib considerably easier. The counterweights for EC-B cranes of up to 130 mt are all identical. The newly designed comfort cab can likewise be attached and removed using quick-release fastenings.

Self-erecting cranes, type H, K and HM

Hydraulics make handling of the H series cranes simple. Hydraulic rams on the tower and the jib move the H crane to its working position in no time at all. The folding tower has solid walls that are absolutely tight-welded.

The patented EDC slewing gear and the powerful hoist gear assemblies are convincing in their performance and reliability.H cranes feature the practical 160° obstruction avoid ance angle and the 20° raised jib working position.

The fast-erecting crane programme of lattice construction extends from 26 to 120 mt. These cranes have various jib lengths and hook heights as well as simple erecting kinematics.These cranes can be transported on the road as complete ready-to-use units. They need very little erecting space and, thanks to the 34 K to 120 K.1 cranes’ quick-climbing system, complete tower segments can be installed quickly and easily, with the under-hook height adjusted to suit the construction site. These cranes have both the 45° obstruction-avoidance angle and the 30° raised-jib working angle.The 42 K.1, 81 K and 120 K.1 are furthermore also available with crawler tracks.

Hydraulics make handling of the mobile fast-erecting cranes of the HM series simple. With the hydraulic erecting kinematics, erecting of the HM cranes is very easy, fast and safe and can be carried out by a single person.

HM cranes feature the practical 160° obstruction-avoidance angle and the 20° raised-jib working angle. The 22 HM also has a 40° super-raised working angle.

The HM series offers the advantages of the H crane system and has integrated transport axles for maximum mobility up to 80 km/h.

Derrick Cranes, type DR
